Our All Inclusive Approach unwavering – Ogun CoS

The present administration in Ogun State will not be distracted in its desire to bring the best brains on board, in the development of the State.

The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Ogun State Governor, Alhaji Salisu Shuaib, stated this while fielding questions on a radio programme in Abeokuta, reiterating that the present administration would ensure inclusiveness, to provide a fertile ground for the opposition to participate for effective governance.

‘’This administration’s intention is to build the State, develop the economy and provide maximum security of life and property; this cannot be an exclusive responsibility of an individual or party. Everybody must be brought onboard, irrespective of their creed or class”, Salisu stated.

Salisu maintained that, all inclusive governance as enshrined in the ‘’Building our Future Together’’ mantra of Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration, was clearly articulated, for the betterment of State and the people, reiterating government’s commitment to all its promises, which he assured, would manifest as time unfolds.

“This all inclusive governance as clearly stated in our mantra of building our future together does not in any way reduces the power of the Governor. It’s all about hearing people’s view and needs before providing succour for them’’, he said.

On welfare packages for senior citizens, the CoS noted that a lot of benefits abound, part of which was the recent empowerment of 1,000 widows by the Office of the Wife of the Governor, stating that factors militating against prompt payment of pensions and gratuities were being identified, with a view to tackling them headlong and proffer lasting solution.
