Ogun Rolls out Activities to Celebrate Nigeria at 58

The celebration of the 58th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria in Ogun State would kick-off with a special Jumat Service scheduled for Friday September 28, 2018, at the Central Mosque, Kobiti, Abeokuta, at 1pm.

          According to a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, an Inter-Denominational Church Service would also hold on Sunday September 30, 2018, at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Ake, Aboekuta, by 10a.m, while the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun will lead top Government functionaries, Traditional Rulers, as well as other distinguished invitess to grace the events.

  The Grand Finale would come up on Monday October 1, 2018, at the M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, at 10a.m, featuring parades by the Armed Forces, the Police and March past by various schools, Labour Unions, Trade Groups and Voluntary Organisations among others, where the Governor would be taking the salute.

          The statement enjoined top government functionaries, Civil Servants and other invited guests to be seated by 9.30am.
