Ogun Remain Most Peaceful State In Nigeria – PCRC State Chairman

The new Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Ogun State Command, Pastor (Dr.) Michael Lawson has reaffirmed that the State remains the most peaceful in Nigeria.

Lawson who stated this during the inauguration of new State Executives and swearing in of new Area Commands Executives at Eleweran, the State Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force in Abeokuta, said, the Nigeria Police Force, with the support of PCRC was doing a lot at ensuring reducing to the barest minimum, the level of crime in the State.

The new PCRC Chairman noted that the new State Executives, towards enhancing effective police community partnership, will build more police stations across the State and provide logistics to support the police and would continue to give strategic partnership that would assist in implementing government security policy in order for the State to remain crime free.

Speaking at the event, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Bashir Dapub Makama, who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Philip Ogbadu, assured members of the State’s PCRC and the entire citizenry of effective and adequate security across the State.

The Police Commissioner, who called for the support and cooperation of members of the public, warned against all forms of criminal activities, saying, the State Police Command is always battle ready and more determined to flush out all criminals from their hide out across the state.

In his vote of thanks, the Secretary, Planning Committee of the event, Alhaji (Hon.) Farouk Akintunde, appreciated the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa and the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, for their support and adequate contributions to the success of the PCRC, Ogun State Command.
