Ogun Market Men, Women Honours Dr. Mrs. Olufunso Amosun
The Wife of the Governor of Ogun State, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun has been honoured as the Grand Matron of Market Women and Men Association of Ogun State Nigeria (MAWOMAS), for her immense contribution to poverty reduction in the State.
Speaking during the Mega Rally and Award giving ceremony held at the Ake Palace Ground, Abeokuta, Mrs. Amosun expressed appreciation to the market men and women for their support since the inception of the present administration, assuring of her foundation’s continued support at boosting the economic power of men and women in the State and beyond.
Presenting the Award to the wife of the Governor, the Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akamo, explained that the award was an honour well deserved, saying she had positively influenced all segments of the society though her UPLIFT Development Foundation, encouraging her to keep up the good work.
