Amosun Concludes Payment Of Severance Allowance To Past Political Office Holders

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has approved the payment of severance allowance to past political office holders, who served the State in various capacities between 2007 and 2015.

Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, who announced this in a Statement in Abeokuta, said the payment would be done on Wednesday, 13thFebruary, 2019 at the Arcade Ground of the Governor’s office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, at nine in the morning.

While noting that the current administration had paid several batches of the allowance to former State political office holders and 1st batch of their counterparts in the Local Government Councils, the State Scribe stressed that the current exercise, which is the concluding part, would cover all political functionaries who served in the Local Government Councils between 2007 to 2011, under the Otunba Gbenga Daniel administration and 2011 to 2015.

The Statement requested that all beneficiaries are to check their names on the Notice Board, at the Ministry of Finance, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta on Monday, 11thFebruary, 2019, to ensure a hitch-free exercise.
