Amosun Assures Of Fixing Imala, Ilewo Roads Beofre End Of Tenure

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has assured the people of Imala and Ilewo areas of Oke-Ogun in Abeokuta North Local Government Area that he will fix their roads before the expiration of his tenure.

Amosun who gave the assurance during his campaign at Imala said, “out of the two roads that I will construct in Oke-Ogun before I leave office would be that of Imala and Ilewo”, affirming that the roads were last constructed in 1958  before the creation of the State.

He said government is continuum and one administration cannot complete every task, enjoining the people to vote for continuity in the State, so that the next Governor could continue with the Master Plan laid down by his administration.

The Governor maintained that in his mission to rebuild the State, Ota, Ijebu-Ode, Ijebu-Igbo, Sagamu, Abeokuta, Ayetoro have witnessed more infrastructural development, noting that what needed to be done in Oke-Ogun axis was not as much as what  had been done in the major towns, pledging to fulfil all electioneering promises.

Shedding more light on the 50-year Master Plan, Amosun said his administration has created enabling environment for industries to thrive, as well as provided infrastructure that would bring further development and make life more meaningful for the people.

He enjoined the people to get their Permanent Voter Cards, to enable them perform their civil responsibilities, advising the youths to eschew violence before, during and after the elections.

Welcoming the Governor to his palace, the Omola of Imala, Oba Moses Adelani Olabode, appreciated his developmental feats, while appealing to the government to intervene in the boundary dispute in the area with a neighbouring community in Oyo State.
