Amosun Campaigns at Ifo.
My intention to offer myself to represent the state at the upper chamber is burned out of a genuine desire to serve the state at a higher level and not personal interest.These were the words of the Ogun state governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun while assuring the people of Ifo local government of greater future for the state during his Ogun central senatorial election campaign and re- election of President Buhari to wards in the local government.
Ifo is the largest and most cosmopolitan local government in Ogun state.The highly populated local government high return of votes is one of six local governments whose votes will be needed to secure victory at the poll for his Ogun central senatorial election.The huge turn out of people of Oke Aro Ibaragun ward to welcome the Ogun state governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun and show him support for his candidature as Ogun central senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress as he canvassed for votes in the council area bears testimony to his expected victory at the poll.The message of collection of permanent voter’s card, peaceful conduct during the election and standing by their votes is what the governor came with.Having been going round different wards since morning, it was already dark by the time the Ogun central senatorial candidate arrived at Agbado and the people waited patiently to receive him and add their own to the loads of support and goodwill that has been shown him in all the wards he has been to in senatorial zone.
Governor Amosun used the occasion to explain what his administration has done in the last eight years to put the state on a steady path of progress and development.It’s some minutes to midnight here in Ososun ward, but it is like the day is just breaking as the community was set agog at the arrival of the senatorial candidate.The governor revealed what the people stand to benefit from the reelection of president Buhari and his candidature of Ogun central senatorial zone.He promised to always put the interest of the state first in all things.
