Forever Missed: Chief Mrs Modupe Olubola Oyebolu (1937-2018)

The Oyebolu Family announces the passing away of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Chief Mrs Modupe Olubola Oyebolu (Iya Ijo of Holy Trinity Anglican Church Ikereku Abeokuta) who died on thursday 12th July 2018. Funeral arrangement to be announced later.

Chief Mrs Modupe Olubola Oyebolu was a great woman of God with a big smile and an even bigger heart! Soft-spoken, yet greatly respected, she was a great support to many, an encourager to all, a leader, a mentor and a true matriarch! She loved gardening, music and singing. She was a mentor and great friend to young people and young couples.

Mummy was born on February 16, 1937 and passed on suddenly at the age of 81, with no prior illness, on July 12, 2018. For this we are grateful and we are comforted in the knowledge that she is resting peacefully in the bossom of the Lord. We are grateful to God that she lived a rich and fulfilled life, characterised by love and laughter. We also thank God for everyone whose life she touched.  It will be impossible for the vacuum she has left to be filled. We will surely miss her greatly.

Chief Mrs Modupe Olubola Oyebolu was married to Chief Oluseyi Oyebolu, a legal practitioner (Former Ogun State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice), for 56 years. The couple is blessed with four loving children and eight beautiful grandchildren.

An online memorial site (https://www.forevermissed.com/modupeoyebolu) has been created in her memory to leave tributes, share stories, pictures and moments with her. https://www.forevermissed.com/modupeoyebolu/
