Two Die In Auto Accident Along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

An 18-seater commercial bus heading to Ibadan from Lagos was involved in a lone accident on Friday April 22, leaving two dead and twelve injured.

Eye witness account says the commercial bus had a burst tyre while in motion, lost control and subsequently somersaulted.

In a statement by the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps TRACE, one passenger died instantly while the other who was rescued by the Ogun State Ambulance and Emergency Services later died at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, where he was rushed to.

Commiserating with the bereaved families, TRACE advises motorists to make safety their watch word and avoid overspeeding and the use of expired tyres.
