Trace Corps Screening Exercise Successful – Ogunyemi

The Commander of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) Mr. Seni Ogunyemi has commended candidates who took part in the extended ASCON interview and screening exercise for the post of road Traffic Officer in the Ogun State Civil Service, for conducting themselves in an orderly manner.

Commander Ogunyemi who gave the commendation in an interview with pressmen during the screening exercise, held at the Corps Headquarters in Abeokuta, described the process as free and fair, adding that, candidates who were medically unfit, pregnant women and those considered to be too short, were disqualified, as the Corps was determined to recruit the best hands for the job.

Ogunyemi noted that the exercise was important, particularly to the Corps and the State Civil Service, for discipline, efficiency and effectiveness of the intended officers on the job, if eventually selected.

Highlight of the exercise included running, measurement of height, which should not be less than 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females, as well as assessment of medical fitness report.
