Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Expansion of Lagos – Sagamu Expressway : Installation of Flyover Cross beam at Mountain Top University

In view of the on-going construction activities along the Lagos-Sagamu Expressway, the general public, particularly the motoring public, is hereby notified that there would be a temporary diversion of traffic from outbound Lagos (Ibadan bound traffic) to inbound Lagos (Inward Lagos Section) and vice-versa between 5.00pm (1700hrs) – 6.00am (0600hrs) daily from Monday, 28th December, 2020- Wednesday, 30th December, 2020, due to the installation of a flyover cross beam at Mountain Top University.

The traffic rerouting plan indicates that diversion would commence 200metres before CH 16 + 540 and terminates after CH 16 + 540.

Against this backdrop, the general public, particularly the motoring public are enjoined to please adhere to the diversion guidelines, cooperate with construction workers and follow simple traffic rules and regulations as specified.

Nevertheless, safety and security services like TRACE, FRSC, POLICE and NSCDC would be strategically positioned along the diversion and detour routes to ensure and enforce compliance.

However, any inconveniences is highly regretted please.
