Three die on Sagamu/Benin Expressway Road Accident

No fewer than three women have died in a road accident which occurred on Sunday December 26, 2021 at Itako Ijebu Ife along Sagamu/Benin Expressway
According to eyewitness account, the driver of the Ford Jeep with registration number AKD 311 HH who was coming from Lagos to the East on vacation, lost the control of the car due to alleged excessive speed and rammed into a stationary Dangote truck from behind
It was gathered that the driver was driving the three women in the vehicle, a mother and her two daughters who lost their lives in the accident to the East on holidays when the accident occurred.
The driver, according to reports, was employed by the husband of the deceased’s woman who stayed overseas as family driver.
TRACE officers say the two vehicles involved in the accident had been taken to Ijebu Ife Divisional Police Station for further investigation while the bodies of the victims deposited at a morgue.
The TRACE while commiserating with bereaved family urged drivers to avoid excessive speed and dangerous driving particularly during this harmattan season when the visibility is usually poor.
