One Dead, One Injured In Auto Crash at Kara Bridge Along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway
A multiple auto crash at Kara Bridge along Lagos- Ibadan Expressway, this Thursday, claimed one life.
A statement by the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun State Sector Command says a total of twenty-two persons and seven vehicles were involved in the accident which left one injured while the remaining people escaped unhurt.
The accident according to the statement was caused by brake failure on the part of a truck driver which rammed into another vehicle from the rear.
Sector Commander FRSC Ogun State, Ahmed Umar, advises motorists especially drivers of articulated vehicles to always ensure their vehicles are in good condition and carry out necessary checks on them before embarking on any trip.
While sympathizing with the families of the victims, the Road Safety Boss urges them to contact FRSC out post in Ibafo for more information on the crash.
