Omo-Agege took over plenary amidst cheers from members of the Senate following the departure of the President of the Senate Ahmed Lawan.

Senator James Manager (Delta South) immediately moved a point of order and upon recognition, he said “It is good to see you there” in what may be described as a celebration of his chairing the Senate.

It would be recalled that the Senate resumes on Tuesday, 8 June 2019 and had convened severally for plenary with the Chairman of the National Assembly presiding over plenary until today Thursday, 6th February, 2020.
