The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has promised market women across the state of a single digit loan to help boost their businesses and the economy of the state at large. Governor Amosun gave the promise this Tuesday in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta while speaking with journalists shortly after he received the Akile Ijebu women society led by the Iyalode Fausat Akorede Alatishe. The Governor noted that insecurity would not be pronounced in the state if the women folks are well supported in the area of their trade adding that this would bring succour to their families. Governor Amosun disclosed that just recently the fish farmers association in Eriwe area of the state are beneficiaries already assuring that such gesture would be replicated to other market men and women in the state. Earlier in her speech, the Iyalaje of Akile Ijebu, Iyalode Fausat Akorede Alatishe commended the Governor for the landmark achievements that his administration had recorded in the state through the provisions of infrastructural facilities. Iyalode Fausat Alatishe while appreciating the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led government for the rehabilitation and upgrading markets places across the state pledged their unflinching support to the administration.
