Ogun Engineers are worthy ambassador of NSE – Lanre Bisiriyu, Permanent Secretary, OGHA

 

Engineers in Ogun State Civil Service are making good mark in their respective Ministry. This was stated by Permanent Secretary and Clerk of the Ogun State House of Assembly Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu FNSE during a short courtesy visit by the Delegates of Abeokuta Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers today Thursday September 20th, 2018.

He further said that all the branch Engineers have proved to be good ambassadors in the on-going Rebuilding Project of Ogun State, most especially the Engineers in Ministry of Works and Infrastructure. He also appreciated the uncommon Unity in the Branch especially in the change of leadership of the branch all the time and the great effort of all the Past Branch Chairmen.

On behalf of the Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Engr. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi  and Other Permanent Secretaries (Engineers), he  pledged their committment to continously support  the Branch and Engineers in Ogun State Civil Service.

Engr. Bisiriyu commended President Buhari for Presidential Executive Order 5 for Planning and Execution of Projects, Promotion of Nigerian Content in Contracts and Science, Engineering and Technology. In addition, he commended Nigerian Society of Engineers and Former Head of Service of the Federation Engr. Mrs. Ebele Okeke for their efforts towards approval of New Entry point for Graduate Engineers by National Council of Establishment.

Speaking earlier, the Branch Chairman Engr. Dr. O. A. Apampa FNSE, commended the Permanent Secretary for his past support and contributions towards the betterment of the Branch and welfare of Engineers in Ogun State. Like Oliver twist, He requested for his continuous support for the Engineers and Engineering Profession.
