Ogun Assembly gives Deadline on Submission of Report.
The Ogun State House of Assembly has called on Heads of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) in the twenty Local Government Councils and thirty-seven Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), to submit 30 copies of their reports of stewardship from 2016 to 2019, for various LGAs and 2017 to 2019 for LCDAs, to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs on or before July 25, 2019.
The Assembly also noted that the reports were expected to assess the income and expenditure of the Councils, as well as achievements and challenges during the period under reference.
The Speaker, Rt Hon. Olakunle Oluomo gave the directive during a Plenary, held at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, adding that the Ministry is expected to forward the documents to the Assembly by Monday, July 29, 2019, while the HOLGAs were to appear before the lawmakers on Monday, August 5, 2019, for further clarification on the reports submitted to the Assembly.
