NTA Abeokuta Engineering Staff, Idowu Shines Again, Receives NTA, NSE Presidential Awards
NTA Abeokuta Engineering Staff, Olumayowa Idowu has again been recognized with two different awards for his ingenuity and capacity in ICT development and outstanding contribution in Electrical Engineering for National development
Idowu received NTA Award, presented by the Director General of the African Largest Television Network, Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos during the 2022 NTA Heads of Engineering conference held in Abuja for his numerous interventions in the deployment of ICT for the expansion of television services thereby increasing the visibility of NTA Abeokuta and also for developing a mobile app for NTA local stations on Google play store.
The graduate of 2022 Executive Public Leadership Programme of Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford where his capstone project was ranked the best also received the Nigerian Society of Engineers Presidential Award of Excellence in recognition of his remarkable achievements in Engineering and excellent services to the prestigious professional body, NSE
Reacting to the two awards, Olumayowa Idowu says the awards will further spur him in moving NTA to greater heights and also focus more on the three main lofty missions of the great Nigerian Society of Engineers
