NAWOJ commiserates  with the Government and people of Borno State

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has  comiserated with the Government and People of Borno state over the  killings of innocent Rice farmers in Mafa Local Government Area of the State.

In a  statement signed by the National President, Ladi Bala, the Association  called for improved security architecture in the country to avert such, in the nearest future.

The statement  also adds that the Association is however worried that the

killings have made many women widows with it’s attendant consequences on the future of their children and the society.

The Association welcomed the Marching order by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Military to take the battle to the enclave of the terrorists.
