My Cabinet will be based Strictly on merit – Prince Dapo Abiodun
Prince Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun State has vowed that all appointments into his proposed cabinet will be based on merit.
According to him, after a visit to President Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential villa “appointment will be based on competence because my administration needs qualified professionals for the execution of the developmental programmes.”
Abiodun further promised that his govt. will leverage on the proximity of Ogun State to Lagos to further raise the flow of investments into Ogun State and would improve on the ease of doing business to create an enabling environment for the public – private sector partnership to attract more investors in the State.
The Gov. also promised quantitative government by empowering LG councils, prompt payment of salaries, gratuities and pensions.
