Imbibe Jesus Selflessness, Ogun Gov. -Elect., Dapo Abiodun Urges Ogun People at Easter.
As Christians celebrate Easter, Ogun State Governor-elect, Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun, has enjoined people of the state to “reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ in order to imbibe his selfless disposition.
In a statement issued in Abeokuta on Thursday and signed by Abiodun’s spokesperson, Pastor Remmy Hazzan, the Governor- Elect was quoted as saying, “the Easter season is the moment for us all to reflect on the supreme sacrifice of Christ, imbibe his universal message of love and selfless disposition. This will help ensure that all forms of bitterness, vices and evil are completely renounced by all, as we move towards the Ogun state of our dream”.
Continuing, Prince Abiodun remarked that notwithstanding the side of religious divide we may belong, the interest of our state and Nigeria is a common ground that unites us all for the peace, which Christ preached. We therefore must all pray and work towards the peace, development and greater good of Ogun State and Nigeria. Happy Easter to you all”, the statement concluded.
