Funmi Wakama of NTA, Folake Soetan, Esther Odeyemi And Others Make List of 100 Leading Women In Nigeria

The General Manager, NTA Abeokuta, Mrs Funmi Wakama has been named as one of the Nigeria Women Annual 100 leading Women, 2022 Edition.

Funmi Wakama and 99 other names including Pastor Mrs Esther Arinola Odeyemi, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, Mrs Folake Soetan, Yemisi Edun and others are recognized based on their influence and contributions to women development in the areas of Business, Politics, Advocacy, Media, Medicine and other sectors.

The recipient who could not hide her joy for the recognition described the feat as a challenge to do more.

Funmi Wakama, a first female Chief Press Secretary to the former Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun and first Media Manager Programme and Outreach of the International Republican Institute (IRI), an agency under the USAID programme in Nigeria is the General Manager, NTA Abeokuta.
