Fatal Accident Claims four lives Along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway

 

A fatal accident has claimed the lives of four people at Ayetoro, Mowe Ibafo along Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State

In a statement by Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) the accident involved a Foton Commercial bus whose rear tyre busted on motion and sumasaulted into a ditch

TRACE stated that fifteen passengers, who were traveling from Ibadan to Lagos were involved in the accident, out of which eleven of them sustained various degrees of injury

While the injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment, the dead have been deposited at the Mortuary and the vehicle taken to Mowe Divisional Police Station

TRACE however urged Drivers to avoid over speeding, use of second hand tyres and obey traffic rules and regulations while driving.
