Day of Tributes In Honour of Late Lai Oso Holds On Wednesday
Wednesday the 12th July 2023 has been set aside as a day of Tributes in honour of late Lai Oso.
A statement by the Chairman, Organizing Committee, Professor Dele Odunlami explains that the event was put together by mentees, friends and associates to celebrate the life and times of the great academic icon and erudite media and communication Scholar, Professor Oso.
The event will hold at OGD Hall, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta from 11am to 3:00 pm and will feature an array of activities including special musical renditions in honour of the life and times of the great scholar.
It is being put together by tertiary institutions offering Mass Communications across Ogun State and professional associations such as Nigeria Union Journalists, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Ogun State chapter, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) and Ogun State Television, (OGTV).
Others include Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Alumni Association, friends and associates of the deceased and Victory Life Bible Church, Abeokuta where late Professor Oso was a pastor before his demise.
Professor Oso died on Saturday 24th June 2023 in a ghastly motor accident while returning from Delta State University, Abraka where he had gone to examine some PhD students.
