Ogun Reschedules Basic Education Certificate Examination
The 2018 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for students in Public and Private Junior Secondary Schools in Ogun State has been rescheduled, to commence on Tuesday June 19 to Monday June 25, 2018.
A statement by the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Modupe Mujota, enjoined principals to make adequate arrangement towards the successful conduct of the examination, while students were urged to comport themselves in an orderly manner during the examination.
The statement added that all necessary machinery has been put in place by the ministry for a hitch-free examination, just as it wishes all the students, success.
Meanwhile, all public and private primary and secondary schools in Ogun State, will on Wednesday June 13 and Thursday June 14, 2018, proceed on mid-term holiday for 3rd term 2017/2018 academic session.
A release signed by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Modupe Mujota, stated that academic activities would resume immediately after the holidays.
