Bakare Hails Amosun’s Developmental Strides in Ogun
Founder of the Save Nigeria Group and Pastor, Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has lauded the developmental strides of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun administration in Ogun state.
Bakare gave the commendation when he paid a visit to the governor in his office yesterday, describing the visionary leadership of Amosun as exceptional.
“We have seen governors in Ogun State before him,
but governor Amosun has taken the hearts of the people by his developmental strides. His is a fingerprint of a visionary leader. I don’t mince words”, he added.
Bakare, who was the running mate to President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 Presidential election, under the banner of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), appreciated Amosun for the condolence visit to his family, over the demise of his mother, Madam Abigail Eebudola Bakare.
The governor, in his response, noted that Madam Bakare lived a meaningful life, disclosing that she will be given an “Ogun Standard” burial, as she was an illustrious daughter of the state, just as her son is a pride to the state.
