APC Legislative Primaries in Ogun peaceful, free and fair, records massive turnout

Ogun State All progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly and Gubernatorial primary election in Abeokuta South, North and Odeda local government recorded a peaceful, free and fair exercise.

Our reporter Lookman Adefeso who went round various wards in Abeokuta reports that party members came out in droves.

It is the last but not least APC  primary election for the 2019 election and it did live up to expectation as party members stormed their various wards in large numbers again.

The option A4 model afforded members to queue behind the poster or placard of the aspirant of their choice and vote them into the senate, house of representatives as well as the state house of assembly seats.

In Abeokuta South, From ward 1 Ake, Ward 9 Reverend Kuti to Ward 8 Erunbe Isale Ijeun where the Secretary to State Government Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa  exercised his franchise, it was all a success story again.

Members of the party also defied the hot sun in all the wards visited in Abeokuta North local government  and Odeda local government areas including ward 11 Ita Iyalode, Ward 3 Ago Oko, ward 11 Ita Iyalode and Ward 7 Obantoko among others.

Meanwhile, other political parties were urged to take a leaf from the peaceful conduct of the primaries.
