6th Triennial NUJ Conference : Welcome to Abeokuta – Dele Atunbi

Dear colleagues, as we converge on Abeokuta for our 6th triennial delegates conference, we wish to welcome you all to the capital city of Ogun State.
As journalists we have seen so far in the last three years what our great union the NUJ has been turned to.
It is clear to us that this definitely is not the NUJ our forebearers bequeathed to us.During their time, our union was solid, great,not beggerly,strong as well as being the voice of the voiceless and the vision of the nation with its integrity intact.
Three years down the line our hard-earned integrity has been thrown to the dogs.
As the watchdog of the society charity must begin from our home.We must change the narrative by electing a leader rather than electing a dealer.
It is time to restore the lost glory and integrity of our great union.
Vote Dele Atunbi as President, NUJ.
