FG Approves Reconstruction Of Some Major Roads In Ogun

The Federal Government of Nigeria has awarded the reconstruction of the 100km Sagamu – Interchange – Papalanto – Ilaro – Oja Odan road, and the old Sokoto – Kano road, that runs through Joga Orile, Rounder and Igbo-Ora in Oyo State.

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun who disclosed this while on a campaign tour to Sunren Ward in Ifo Local Government Area of the State, thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the kind gesture, noting that the State has the longest kilometres of road that had been awarded and paid for by the Federal Government.

He assured Nigerians that Government was working round the clock to ensure meaningful development through provision of necessary infrastructures for the country, adding that the President would soon be in the State for the test running of the ongoing rail construction.

The Governor also revealed that his administration was planning to develop a 40 billion dollars New City Project, to be handled by the best logistics company in the world, which would include a shopping mall, business and a commercial district around Kara-Isheri area of the State.

He explained further that the project would attract more investors and boost economic activities around the area, as well as increase the Internally Generated Revenue for the incoming administration in the State.
