Three Die In Multiple-Crash Along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

Three persons have died in a crash involving three vehicles, a Micra car with registration number BDJ 257 XF, a Truck T4916LA and another Truck with has no registration number at Mile 12 Market, Ogere along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

The crash which occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday June 29, 2022, in a statement by the Federal Road Safety Corps’s public education officer, SRC Florence Okpe, was caused by the alleged excessive speed and dangerous driving by the Truck driver while trying to negotiate a turning point and the other Truck coming from Ibadan, also with high speed rammed into the Micra car.

Three persons out of seven passengers died while other did not sustain any injury.

The statement discloses that the three corpses have been deposited at FOS Ipara.

FRSC Sector Commander, Ogun State while reiterating on the dangers of speed especially when visibility is poor cautioned motorists on night journey to drive cautiously, avoid speed and obey traffic rules and regulations.

Commiserating with the bereaved families, the Sector Commander advises them to contact FRSC Ogere for more information about the crash.
