Buhari lands in Nouakchott for AU Summit

President Buhari lands in Nouakchott, Mauritania

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Nouakchott, capital of Mauritania for the 31st Summit of the African Union. He was received at the airport by President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, along with some of his officials.

Among them were Mauritania Chief of Airforce Colonel Mohamed Mohamed Salem Lehereitani, Secretary of the Presidency Mr. Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghda and Minister of National Defence, Mr. Diallo Mamadou Bathia.

There were Nigerian officials on ground as well. Among them were  the National Security Adviser, NSA Major General Babagana Munguno, Edo State governor Godwin Obaseki, EFCC Acting Chairman Ibrahim Magu and   National Coordinator/ECO NEPAD, Princess Gloria Akobundu.  There was also  the president’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Mrs. Lauretta Onochie.
