Engr Isaac Adekanye Assumes Leadership As Chair Of IEEE Africa Council

In a landmark development for the technological landscape in Africa, Engr Isaac Adekanye has assumed office as the Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Africa Council. His tenure commenced on January 1, 2024.

He has made significant contributions to the development of engineering and technology in Africa and played a pivotal role as the Vice Chair of the IEEE Africa Council from 2022 to 2023, where he demonstrated exemplary leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for fostering technological advancements on the African continent.
