NIMN To Establish Training Centre In Ogun

In an effort to address the yearnings of Nigerians, seeking to acquire relevant marketing skills and knowledge required to thrive in the prevailing complex and dynamic economic environment, the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) has expressed its desire to establish a training centre in Ogun State.

President and Chairman NIMN, Mr. Tony Aganmonman who disclosed this when he led members of the institute on a visit to the office of the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru in Abeokuta, said the centre would provide requisite marketing skills, knowledge and competence to the general public within and outside Ogun State, especially those responsible for quality products or service delivery in their organisations.

While acknowledging the significant role played by the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, in the actualisation of the Act setting up the institute, he noted that the centre would help promote commercial opportunities, which would attract participants from different parts of the country.

In his address, the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, commended the institute for choosing the State for the establishment of its training centre, saying that the State has done a lot in creating enabling environment for business to thrive, while security and infrastructural development have also been receiving desired attention.

Ashiru urged the institute to use their skills and knowledge to help propagate the achievements of the State to the public.
