OGHA Meets Amosun, Reviews Progress In The State

 

Members of the Ogun State House of Assembly had met with the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, to review the progress made so far by the present administration.

The Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, who spoke with newsmen after the close door meeting, said “it was a normal parliamentary caucus meeting, as the administration approaches the end of the third year of the 8th legislature.”

Hon. Oluomo added that the meeting afforded the Governor the opportunity to brief them on the economic and financial status of the State and its position in the comity of states in Nigeria, just as it also provided members of the Assembly, the opportunity to assess the level of success recorded and what more should be expected before the end of this administration.

He said the meeting among other issues discussed, highlighted what the legislative arm was expected to do to support the executive, in order to continue to make life better for the people.
