SOWEGA Games OGUN 2021 Flagged Off.

The South West Games, OGUN 2021 has been flagged off at the Continental Suites, Abeokuta.

Tagged SOWEGA Games OGUN 2021, the sporting fiesta will officially open at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeoktuta on Tuesday 28th September by 12 noon.

The games fiesta will involve sportsmen and women from tertiary institutions and security agencies operating in the South Western part of Nigeria.

12 sporting activities will be competed for including Athletics, Football, Chess, Scrabble, Basketball, Volleyball, etc.

A parade of all participating tertiary institutions as well as as the security agencies will be part of the opening ceremony, followed by a football match between Immigration Service and Ogun State Traffic Control, TRACE teams.

Notably present at the flag-off ceremony are representatives of security agencies including the Police, FRSC, TRACE, NDLEA, NSCDC, Chairman and members of the Central Working Committee of SOWEGA Ogun- 2021, including Chairman Dr. Tunde Olokun and Olympic
