Veteran Broadcast Journalist, Adegboyega Arulogun is dead.

Alhaji Adegboyega Arulogun, veteran broadcast journalist and former Information Commissioner in Old Oyo State, has died at the age of 84.

Born on October 1, 1934 in Ibadan, he started his Television career, at WNTV-WNBS, Ibadan.

Between 1977 and 1987, he was in charge of Production Services of the Nigerian Television Authority and later appointed the General Manager of NTA Channels 5, 7 and 10, all in Lagos.

In 1988, he was appointed Commissioner for Information and Culture in Oyo State and at different times headed Ministries of Information, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Works and Transport.

Chief Adegboyega Arulogun is survived by children and grandchildren.
