81 Division Nigerian Army Conducts Exercise “Still Water”

In line with Nigerian Army Training Directive for year 2021, troops of 81 Division Nigerian Army, Including its affiliated formations and units located within Lagos and Ogun States will be Conducting Exercise STILL WATER, from 4 October – 23 December 2021.
The Exercise will be conducted jointly with the Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Airforce as well as other security agencies.
The Exercise which will dovetail into a real time operation is aimed at enhancing Troops’ level of professionalism and preparedness in curbing security challenges prevalent within its area of responsibility such as banditry, kidnapping, armed robbery, ritual killings, pipeline vandalizing among others.
The Exercise will involve movement of troops and military equipment within Lagos and Ogun States. Accordingly, the people of Lagos and Ogun States are advised not to panic during the period.
The General Officer Commanding 81 Division Major General Lawrence Fejokwu is expected to flag off the Exercise on Monday 4th October 2021 at Abeokuta South Local Government Area Secretariat Ogun State by 10:30 AM.
Furthermore, as part of the flag off Exercise there would be free medical services to the benefit of host Communities.
