The mid-term elections for the Doctors Syndicate in Qena Governorate concluded today in a calm and orderly atmosphere characterized by transparency and discipline, amid notable participation from members of the General Assembly who were keen to exercise their union rights in a sophisticated democratic atmosphere.

The results of the elections resulted in the victory of Dr. Mahmoud Owais, who received 347 votes, and Amr Ahmed Hamed, who received 199 over-age votes, as 4 candidates were competing for them. Ahmed Hussein, who obtained 174 votes, and Walid Abbas, who received 175 votes, won for the two under-age seats, where 5 candidates were competing.
The electoral process took place under the full judicial supervision of the Administrative Prosecution, headed by Counselor Yasser Al-Hawari and Counselor Ahmed Wasfi, to ensure the integrity of the procedures and the integrity of the results.
The conduct of the electoral process was supervised by Dr. Mohamed El-Deeb, President of the Qena Doctors Syndicate and Chairman of the Elections Committee, who confirmed that what the union witnessed today represents a model of responsible union work, praising the efforts of the organizational committees and members of the union in making this professional entitlement a success.
Al-Deeb pointed out that the broad participation and spirit of cooperation among doctors reflects their union awareness and their keenness to support their professional institution, thanking the General Union for the support and facilitations it provided to make the electoral process a success.
The election day concluded in a scene that confirmed that the Qena Doctors Syndicate continues to consolidate its distinguished model of discipline, transparency, and service to members of the profession.
