For its part, the “Opta” statistics network stated that Mbappe with his first goal scored the fastest goal for Real in the Champions League since Cristiano Ronaldo against Juventus in April 2018.
Mbappe scored his goal against City after 3 minutes and 35 seconds, while Ronaldo scored his goal against Juventus after two minutes and 47 seconds.
The first goal is the fastest thing City in the tournament since October 2018, when Hoffenheim shook his net after 43 seconds.
