Today, the Faculty of Information at the University of Menoufia witnessed the holding of the first identification meeting for its new students, in a distinctive festive atmosphere that carried a sign saying “It is the world, what is not media and a little ordinary human beings?”

The attendees stressed during the meeting the importance of the pivotal role of the media in forming public opinion, spreading awareness, and supporting community development, stressing the need to keep pace with technical development, and benefit from educational programs that combine theoretical aspect and practical application to meet the needs of the renewable labor market.
In his speech, Dr. Nasser Abdel -Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, stressed that the media plays a pivotal role in shaping public opinion, spreading awareness and supporting development, noting that the college’s keenness to integrate between theoretical study and practical application to prepare students who are able to compete in the labor market.
For her part, the dean of the college stressed that the Faculty of Information represents the second house for students, stressing that the aim of the meeting is to introduce them to the college’s departments and its system and support their rapid integration into university life.
Dr. Adel Refaat, Vice -Dean for Education and Student Affairs, also explained that university life is not limited to studying only, but also extends to participate in various activities and student union elections, in order to enhance the values of democratic participation and decision -making.
The faculty members talked about the college departments that include: printed and electronic press, radio and television, and integrated marketing communication, stressing its role in refining students ’skills and developing their capabilities in line with the requirements of the labor market.
The student, Malik Azzam, from the second year in the meeting, participated, as her experience has been recounted since she enrolled in the college to encourage new students to benefit from all the college’s educational opportunities and activities.
The meeting concluded with motivational messages for new students urging them to start the academic year with enthusiasm and passion, with thanks to all those in charge of organizing this event.
