Emirates International Aluminum Company strongly condemned the decision of the Republic of Guinea to cancel the mining privilege of Guinea Alumina Corporation, and transferred it to the newly established government entity, “Nimba Mining”. This decision comes in the wake of the suspension of the operations of Guinea Alumina Corporation illegally since the fall of 2024 and the illegal advertising attempt to end the basic agreement that allowed the company to work in Guinea, and these measures combined are an actual confiscation of the investments of Emirates International Aluminum Company in Guinea.
