The local unit of the Juhayna Center and City launched an enlarged campaign that resulted in the removal of 4 cases of infringement on agricultural lands, in the context of implementing the directives of Major General Dr. Abdel -Fattah Siraj, the governor of Sohag, regarding the decisive confrontation of all forms of encroachments on agricultural lands and state property, especially the encroachments that are made before they evolve and constitute an obstacle to development efforts.
Sohag removal campaigns
Mamdouh Abbas, head of the Juhayna Center and City, explained that the campaign targeted the encroachments held in the white brick “Block” on a total area of 167 square meters, in the village of “Omar bin Al -Khattab” of the West Tahta Project area, specifically Benjaa Al -Hish, within the scope of the local unit of the village of Anabis.
Abbas pointed out that the campaign was carried out under the supervision of Ahmed Mahmoud Abdel -Latif, the deputy head of the center, and with the participation of officials of the removals and organization technicians in the local unit, and with insurance from the force of the Juhayna Police Station, stressing that a violation records on the encroachments were edited, in preparation for taking legal measures regarding violators.
The head of the center stressed that the removal campaigns are continuing on a daily basis in all villages and dependencies, in implementation of the assignments of the political leadership and the directives of the governor, in order to preserve the agricultural area and to prevent the return of the encroachments again, stressing that there is an accurate follow -up of the executive agencies in the governorate for the course of work in this file.
The head of the Juhayna Center and City stressed that the local unit will not tolerate any attempt to infringe on agricultural lands, calling on citizens to adhere to the laws and not to initiate any violation building work.
