The net sales of foreigners and Arabs on the Egyptian Stock Exchange increased to 6.8 billion pounds from the beginning of the year until the end of last July, which witnessed a net sale of 1.075 million pounds, while the Arabs recorded a net sale of 1.412 million pounds, after excluding deals.

According to a recent report by the Egyptian Stock Exchange, the net foreign sales on the Egyptian Stock Exchange recorded 3.1 billion pounds, and the Arabs recorded a net sale of about 3.7 billion pounds, on the restricted shares after the exclusion of deals since the beginning of the year.
These extensive sales come in light of a state of turmoil globally due to US President Donald Trump’s decisions on the start of new periods of imposing customs duties on a number of countries at the same time stopping a number of fees and reducing some of them after reaching an agreement.
The total trading value during last July amounted to about 1.731 billion, the amount of trading about 35.523 million papers executed on 2.261 thousand operations, compared to a total trading value of 1.445 billion pounds and the amount of trading amounting to 26.425 million papers executed on 2.057 thousand operations during the past month.
The shares acquired 6.1% of the total trading value within the cabin, while the value of the trading of bonds/ bills represented about 93.9% during the month.
The Egyptians’ transactions recorded 89.2% of the total transactions on restricted shares, while foreigners acquired 5.4% and the Arabs on 5.3%, after excluding deals.
