The official statement, published by Roma on its website, confirmed that Millie Sfailar, who is 24 years old, signed a new contract to keep it inside the “Olympic” until the summer of 2030. The details did not include any reference to the financial compensation for the new contract, but its extension of five years shows the club’s desire to maintain its technical stability in the goalkeeper center.
From Benfica to Rome
The Serbian goalkeeper joined the ranks of Rome in the summer of 2022, coming from the Portuguese Benfica team in a free transfer deal, and gradually succeeded in gaining the confidence of the technical staff, as he presented fixed levels in the posts he obtained during the past two seasons, whether at the local level or in the continental championships.
