The Egyptian Dar Al -Iftaa received a question to which its text was mentioned: Should the woman be covered in prayer?

The Egyptian Dar Al -Iftaa said on her official page on the social networking site Facebook: The woman must cover her entire body in prayer except for the face and the hands.

The Egyptian Dar Al -Iftaa continued, but the woman’s coverage of her feet during prayer, the jurists differed in that: Some of them said that her feet must be covered; For the hadeeth of Umm Salamah, may God be pleased with her, that a woman asked her about the clothes in which the woman prays, and she said: She is praying in the wine and the dumping of the sake that is absent from the appearance of its feet, i.e.: which covers and conceals the apparent feet.

Should the woman be covered in prayer?

The Egyptian Dar Al -Iftaa continued: And some of them said that it is permissible to reveal its feet; Because the Sharia excluded from the adornment of the woman: the face, the hands, and the feet. The Almighty said: {And they do not show their adornment except what appeared from it} [النور: 31].

The Egyptian Dar Al -Iftaa stressed that the mufti in this matter is the permissibility of a woman to reveal her feet in prayer whenever she falls in the embarrassment of their covering; Facilitating it and lifting the embarrassment of it.
