The team, Osama Rabie, head of the Suez Canal Authority, met with representatives of 25 sides of the major navigation lines and agencies, in the presence of Adel Al -Lamai, head of the Port Said Navigation Chamber, to discuss the impact of the positive developments taking place in the security conditions in the Red Sea region and the Bab al -Mandab on the plans and sailing tables in the Suez Canal during the coming period, at the headquarters of the authority at the Al -Irshad building in Ismailia Governorate.
In his speech, the team, Osama Rabie, stressed the importance of combining all efforts and unifying efforts aimed at ensuring freedom of navigation in the Red Sea region, praising the important role played by navigational agencies in supporting the strategic partnership relations between the Suez Canal Authority and its agents from the lines and major shipping companies.

The head of the authority explained that the current security conditions in the Red Sea region are witnessing positive developments towards the return of the navigation movement in the Red Sea region, with the decline in the volume of fears related to marine safety in light of the announcement of the ceasefire in Yemen with the United States of America.
The team, Rabie, invited all navigation lines to think seriously about evaluating their sailing schedules and considering the possibility of making decisions to a gradual return of some of its ships to cross in the region.
The team, Rabie, stressed the importance of positive interaction with the current developments and joint work to reduce pressure on global supply chains and discuss ways and mechanisms for gradual return to cross in the region, taking into account maritime safety considerations and the safety of crews.
The head of the authority expressed his constant readiness to consult on ways to support customer, stressing that the authority witnessed a great development in the field of developing the navigational course of the channel and developing the naval fleet, in parallel with its efforts to improve its level of services, and openness to holding external partnerships to achieve common interests.

The head of the authority revealed the readiness of the Suez Canal to provide all its navigation and marine services within a comprehensive and integrated package to meet the needs of all transit ships in the regular and emergency conditions to include both the services and repair of ships, maritime rescue and maritime ambulance, and replace marine crews in addition to the service of combining and securing the solid waste that is in line with the authority’s direction of green transformation.
For his part, Bahaa Badr, Chairman of the Arab Gulf Company for Maritime Business and Trade, expressed his appreciation for the role of the body in support of its customers in light of the unprecedented challenges facing the Red Sea region, expressing his hope that the recent developments will bear a positive reassurance message to the major navigation lines in a way that contributes to the speed of its return again to cross from the Suez Canal and achieve promising results of the channel’s revenues at the end of the current year.
Adel Al -Lamaai, Chairman of the Port Said Navigation Chamber and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mitchell Jenior, appreciated the efforts made by the Egyptian political leadership to contain the navigation crisis in the Red Sea.
The head of the Port Said Navigation Chamber called for the necessity of holding a global marine naval conference, through which the Suez Canal Authority, reassuring messages to ship owners and major freight companies, and served as a global platform for direct and effective communication with customers.
