The Ministry of Finance accepts 186 offers to sell wardrobe bills worth 23.2 billion pounds

The Ministry of Finance has accepted 186 offers to sell local treasury bills in the local market, at a value of 23.2 billion pounds, for a period of one year for a period of 6 months, at an interest ranging from 24.78% to 27%.

Selling local cabinet bills

According to the official website of the Central Bank, the first offering included acceptance of 65 offers to sell local treasury bills for a year worth 3.68 billion pounds, at an interest ranging from 24.5% to 25.85% and an average interest of 24.78%, out of a total of 272 offers worth 102 billion pounds at a interest from 26.8% to 28%.

While the second offering included accepting 121 offers to sell local treasury bills of 19.6 billion pounds for a period of 6 months, at an interest ranging from 26.30% to 27.24%, with an average interest of 27.01%.

The Egyptian Central Bank announced the rise in net international reserves to reach 48.1 billion dollars at the end of April 2025.

The Egyptian foreign exchange reserves increased by $ 129 million during the month of February; To record 47.394 billion dollars, compared to 47.265 billion in January, according to data issued by the Central Bank of Egypt.

The Official Gazette announced in its number 96 of April 30, 2025, the issuance of the decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Egypt to agree at its meeting held on April 16, 2025 to make fundamental amendments to some articles of the articles of association of the Egyptian Banks Union, in the context of developing institutional work mechanisms and enhancing governance and transparency.
