In a related context, press reports revealed that Real Madrid reached a final agreement with Alonso to take over the technical leadership of the team starting from next season, with a contract that extends until the summer of 2028, that is, for 3 seasons.
The outlines were agreed upon to work between the two parties, especially with regard to the contract policy, as the sports administration will have the last word while giving a consultative role to the coach.
