The lawyers of the governorates of Sohag, Luxor and Giza continue today, Wednesday, April 16, 2025, their commitment to the decisions of the General Syndicate of Lawyers, and the refrain from supplying any financial sums in the reservoirs of the courts of appeal and its missions, for the second day in a row, in implementation of the decisions of the joint meeting between members of the Syndicate Council and the sub -captains headed by Captain General Abdel Halim Allam.
Sohag, Luxor and Giza lawyers continue to refrain from supplying fees in the courts of appeal in implementation of the General Syndicate decisions
This escalating move comes in protest against the decision issued by the chiefs of the Courts of Appeal to impose new fees under the name of mechanical services, which the union considered contrary to the constitution and the law, and it constitutes an additional burden on the litigants, and a threat to the right to the guarantee constitutional.
The sub -unions in the three governorates emphasized the full commitment to the decisions of the General Syndicate, until the decision is retracted, stressing that their movement comes in defense of the right of citizens to lit it away from imposing new financial burdens.
It is noteworthy that the Bar Association organized several protest stops during the past two days in the courts of first instance and appeal in all governorates, to emphasize the refusal to increase judicial fees and impose any fees without a clear legal basis.
