The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Dubai continues its humanitarian efforts during the holy month of Ramadan, where its charitable initiative “distributing fasting breakfast meals” recorded a significant increase in the number of beneficiaries, bringing the total of those who have been served to date to more than 2.4 million beneficiaries, in embodying the lives of social solidarity and the spirit of giving that distinguishes this holy month. In conjunction with the general community, this initiative came to combine charitable work and volunteering, and contribute to delivering goodness to the various groups of society, where more than 1900 permits were issued to distribute meals in separate areas of the emirate, which helped to expand the circle of beneficiaries and reach the most needy groups.
